Delivered in a gender inclusive and trauma sensitive way |
Gentle/Beginners - gentle and exploratory movement grounded in yoga principles. Introduction to breathing techniques, mudras (hand gestures), sound and rest/relaxation techniques. Emphasis on listening to the needs of your body and mind and varying the effort accordingly.
Mixed level - foundational yoga principles in movement and breath offered. With options and encouragement to move towards and explore the edges of your own movement and breath at each practice. Variations offered allowing people to choose the pace and intensity/depth of their practice and experience. |
All levels - Variations offered and explained for each yoga practice, allowing people to work from where they are whether from a chair, on the floor or in between. Practices include asana (movement work), pranayama (breathwork), savasana (rest), meditation/mindfulness and other aspects.
